SCTA

THE ENGAGEMENT.

The Sonoma County Transportation Authority, SCTA, was formed as a result of legislation passed in 1990 to serve as the coordinating and advocacy agency for transportation funding for Sonoma County, and, since 2004, administers Measure M funds generated within Sonoma County through a local sales tax for specific transportation projects in the County. The SCTA partners with other agencies to improve transportation in the County, including Highway 101, local streets, transit, bicycle and pedestrian facilities.

THE CHALLENGE.

After an exhaustive RFP process, MOB Media was awarded the Sonoma County Transportation Authority and the Regional Climate Protection Authority website redesign and branding. Working in collaboration with the in-house teams at the County of Sonoma, we were able to establish a process that seamlessly brought all elements together. For more than 26 years, MOB Media has adapted to an ever-changing communications and technological landscape. Through all of this, we’ve managed to successfully guide our clients and retain what makes us special; the ability to craft long lasting relationships, and build unforgettable brands and awareness. Our rich history of innovative design and cutting-edge solutions make MOB Media a premier source for web development, implementation and content management.

The result.

After much back and forth between MOB and the county, the result was stunning: The rebranding of each logo mark for SCTA and RCPA was the jumping point for the redesign of their respective websites. A modern color palette, alongside sophisticated fonts with compelling pictures and up-to-date content help tell the story of these worthy organizations in Northern California.
