In March of 2013, MOB Media was awarded a contract for Video Production Services, through the RFP process, for Santa Clara County Emergency Medical Services. The work consisted of 6 training videos in English with varying lengths and subject matter. A 30 second commercial “Pull to the Right for Sirens and Lights” was also part of the scope of work and needed to be edited into a :30 commercial for television and a two-minute version for website use, with each of them translated into Spanish and Vietnamese.
Over the course of 3 months, we filmed on location in Santa Clara County for one week a month. This is what was necessary to gather the pertinent shots for the variety of videos we needed to produce. The scope of work called for using County personnel entirely with no professional talent. When working with an entity that handles 911 calls, we had to be both creative and flexible about losing subjects during the course of filming. Santa Clara County Emergency Medical Services were extremely happy with the videos we produced and the working relationship we developed while filming.
